Lenta retailer acquires Billa Russia supermarket chain for €215 mln. The Billa Russia chain operates 161 supermarkets with a total sales area of 138,051 sq.m. The vast majority of stores are located in Moscow and the Moscow Region. As a result of the deal, Lenta's total share of the grocery retail market in this region will be approximately 3%. The transaction is expected to close in summer 2021.
