Mastercard has appointed Mark Barnett, the former head of Mastercard's European division in the UK, Northern Ireland and the Baltic States, as President. Barnett will be responsible for the company's strategy and the development of all aspects of the business in a region that includes 53 countries and over 950 million cardholders.
