Courts and disputes

The German Federal Network Agency has exempted Nord Stream from the rules of the EU Gas Directive in Germany for 20 years. The exemption applies to the pipeline section located in Germany, including its territorial waters, and is valid for a period of 20 years from the entry into force of the German Energy Law as amended to take account of the Directive, i.e. from December 12, 2019.
