AFK Sistema Corporation, RFPI and N.F.Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiological Monitoring organize industrial production of a unique Russian vaccine for COVID-19 prevention on the basis of Alium plant owned by AFK in Zelenograd. The vaccine has shown successful results in preclinical trials, and the first clinical trials of the vaccine are expected to start in mid-June 2020. Mass production of the vaccine is expected to be launched by autumn 2020.
