Beyond Meat has acquired its first plant in Europe, located in Enschede in the Netherlands, and is also establishing a joint venture with Zandbergen in Zoterwood, which will be owned and operated by the latter. The acquired facility will be operational by the end of 2020 in tandem with the joint production with Zandbergen, allowing for integrated production of Beyond Meat products in Europe and increased efficiency.
