Volkswagen will not yet resume production in the Mexican state of Puebla at full capacity due to the threat of coronavirus, despite permission from federal authorities. Returning the plant to full production capacity requires retraining and training of personnel to work in the new sanitary conditions. There are no reports of a possible time frame for the plant to return to full capacity.
