MTS is going to launch several of its own TV channels. The team of the former director of TNT Igor Mishin, who previously headed MTS Media, will be engaged in them. Direct return on investment will be difficult, but the channels strengthen the operator's position in negotiations with other content producers. The operator is already negotiating the purchase of content with Central Partnership, but there have been no transactions yet.
