Gazprom Holding has chosen Stroytransneftegaz as a contractor for the construction of the last section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline to China. This is a 800 km long branch that connects the Kovykta field in the Irkutsk Oblast and the Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia, with a contract value of about ₽160 billion. It is planned that the Kovykta field will be put into operation by the end of 2022.
