Government support

Lufthansa's main shareholder, Heinz Hermann Thiele, who owns 15.5% of the company, said he would vote at the shareholders' meeting to approve the deal with the government in order for the company to receive €9 billion in state support. Earlier, Thiele criticized the deal, which raised doubts that it would be approved by the shareholders' meeting.
