Major deals

Volvo and Waymo, owned by Alphabet, will create together an unmanned electric taxi. Waymo engineers will provide autonomous driving technology and equipment, while Volvo specialists will be responsible for design and production. The new electric cars will be released in the next few years. Waymo has already signed agreements to integrate its technology into Nissan-Renault, Fiat Chrysler and Jaguar Land Rover products.
