The founder of Petropavlovsk Pavel Maslovsky, the CFO Danila Kotlyarov and several other independent directors did not make it to the new board. The new shareholder of Petropavlovsk, Uzhuralzoloto, which is controlled by Konstantin Strukov's family, Everest and Slevin, and Fortiana Holdings, voted against their candidacies. In this regard, the Board of Directors asked the British regulator to check Konstantin Strukov's actions with regard to collusion with other shareholders in violation of M&A rules.
