Google bought Canadian manufacturer of smart glasses North, the amount is not disclosed. In 2019, North released smart glasses Focals with support for augmented reality technology and control with a ring. The device allows you to read messages and notifications from your smartphone, create hiking routes, manage a smart home. The deal may indicate the return of the search engine to the smart glasses market after the failure of Google Glass.
