Business growth

Amazon Web Services platform has created a new business unit dedicated to data infrastructure and cloud services development for aerospace and satellite industries. The division will be headed by retired Air Force Major General Clint Crozier, former Director of Space Force Planning. AWS began its space-focused cloud computing business a year and a half ago when AWS Ground Station, a cloud service designed for satellite owners and operators, was established.
