Severstal will send ₽1.5 billion for the construction of a second steam ejector pump to vacuumize steel at Cherepovets Steel Mill. Modernisation of the unit will increase output of high-margin vacuumed metal to more than 2 million tonnes annually. Its launch is scheduled for Q2 2021. Now Cherepovets Steel Mill is preparing and dismantling the old equipment for the future construction.
