The European Commission has granted conditional approval for the use of the antiviral drug Remesivir in the treatment of COVID-19. Drug of Gilead was the first to receive such approval from the EC. Earlier, the Commission announced that it was negotiating with Gilead to receive doses of remixivir for 27 EU countries. However, it may be difficult after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has reserved 90% of the remixivir, which Gilead will produce from July to September.
