The Danish Energy Agency has authorized the completion of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in its waters using anchor-positioned pipe laying vessels either separately or in combination with vessels equipped with dynamic positioning systems. The decision is based on the fact that the remaining part of the pipeline for completion is outside the area where anchor-positioned vessels are not recommended.
