MTS will be the first in the market to buy 50 thousand routers with support of the new standard Wi-Fi 6, the cost of such a batch can be estimated at $5 million. The equipment will provide a data transfer rate over Wi-Fi of 800 Mbit / s. For clients routers will be available in autumn, their cost is not known yet. Other operators still consider Wi-Fi 6 a niche and very expensive for mass audience technology. The difficulty in developing the new standard in Russia is the lack of standards for certification of user devices with support for Wi-Fi 6.
