Microsoft will spin off the artificial intelligence division of XiaoIce into an independent enterprise. This will accelerate innovation in the Xiaobing product line and the ecosystem around it. The independent company will be chaired by Harry Noise, Head of Research and Artificial Intelligence. The CEO will be Microsoft Executive Director Lee Dee, who led the XiaoIce team within the corporation.
