Cherkizovo Group and Spain's Grupo Fuertes opened the second phase of the Tambov turkey plant, increasing its capacity by 1.5 times to 82,000 live weight tonnes. The complex includes three fattening sites and one additional site, as well as a slaughterhouse, feed mill, incubator and motor transport workshop. The total investment in the construction and launch of the second phase was ₽4 billion.
