The first autonomous taxis without a driver can go on the roads of Moscow in 2024, said Deputy Transport Minister Alexei Semenov. At the moment, the Ministry of Transport together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Industry and Trade are developing a plan for the implementation of measures necessary for allow unmanned cars on public roads. In addition, more than 100 Yandex unmanned vehicles are being tested in Moscow, but the driver must always be at the wheel.
