MTS together with Motorola and Qualcomm conducted tests of Motorola Edge+ - the first smartphone that will support mmWave spectrum of frequencies allocated for creation of 5G in Russia. The gadget will appear on sale in the coming months. "With the launch of the first commercial 5G networks, users will be able to appreciate all the benefits of gigabit-speed content delivery and access to a wide range of services, including for solving the most complex business tasks, optimizing the performance of enterprises and increasing their competitiveness," - said Victor Belov, MTS Vice-President for Technology.
