Major deals
GlaxoSmithKline and CureVac signed a cooperation agreement on research, development, production and commercialization of 5 mRNA-based infectious disease vaccines. Under the terms of the deal, GSK will acquire 10% of CureVac for £130 million. The deal will expand GSK's existing capabilities by using the CureVac technology platform to optimize the properties of mRNA-based vaccines.
