eBay sells its rubric advertising business to Norwegian Adevinta for $9.2 billion. The online auction will receive $2.5 billion in cash and approximately 540 million shares of Adevinta, representing 44% of the company. Together, the partners will have strong positions in 20 markets, covering 1 billion users with 3 billion visits per month. The transaction is expected to be closed in Q1 2021.
