Major deals

Pfizer and BioNTech have entered into agreements with the U.S. Department of Health and the U.S. Department of Defense to begin supplying 300 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine in 2021. Once Pfizer receives approval from the FDA, the companies will deliver the first 100 million doses to the U.S. government for a total of $1.95 billion. In addition, the government will be able to purchase up to 500 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
