Plans and forecasts

Gazprom and Rosatom will start producing hydrogen. The Ministry of Energy prepared a hydrogen energy development plan, according to which in 2024 the companies will launch pilot hydrogen units at nuclear power plants, gas production facilities and raw material processing enterprises. As early as 2021 Gazprom should develop and test a gas turbine using hydrogen methane fuel. In addition, in 2024 Rosatom will build a test site for railway transport using hydrogen.
