Roche announced the results of a 3 phase study of Archway, a drug for the treatment of age-related maculodystrophy, which leads to blindness. In the study, 98.4% of patients were able to do 6 months without additional treatment. Their vision status was equivalent to that of patients receiving monthly eye injections of Ranibizumaba, which is a modern standard of medical care.
