GAZ Group is going to start mass production of the Valdai NEXT truck this year. The company plans to squeeze out foreigners and occupy up to half of the market in the 6.5-7 ton segment by 2025. The total budget of the project is about ₽1 bln, including a preferential loan of ₽400 bln. Currently, the capacity of the Russian market for such vehicles is 4.5-5.5 thousand vehicles per year.
