Gazprom Holding transferred a 51 per cent stake in Nord Stream AG, the Nord Stream project operator, to its subsidiary OOO Gazprom International Projects. In addition to Gazprom, the German companies Wintershall Dea GmbH and Pegi/E.On each own 15.5 per cent of the project. Dutch N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie and French Engie each own 9%.
