Apple has launched iPhone 11 production in India, tweeted by India's Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal. The corporation previously launched an assembly line for iPhone XR in India and began manufacturing in India by Apple as early as May 2017 using iPhone SE. The assembly of the iPhone in India enables the company to avoid paying a 20 percent import duty on finished smartphones.
