Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Khabarovsk Krai Governor Mikhail Degtyarev agreed on the construction of the Khabarovsk CHPP-4 as part of the All-Russian program to modernize thermal power capacities. It will replace CHPP-1, which belongs to DGK, a member of RusHydro Group. The capacity of the plant will be 328 MW, and the thermal capacity will be 1374 Gcal/h. It is planned to be launched in 2025. The station will run on natural gas.
