Electricity generation by Unipro power plants in 6 months. 2020 was 21.8 billion kWh, down 14.1% from the same period last year. Thermal energy production decreased by 12.4% and amounted to 997.7 thousand Gcal. The decrease in generation was due to the reduced power plant load by the System Operator, due to lower demand for electricity as a result of abnormally warm weather, as well as the high level of hydrogenation in all price zones of the company.
