Company METRO has closed the transaction on sale of a network of hypermarkets to Real group SCP Group. The given transaction became the final step in realization of the strategy of transformation of the company. Now METRO is focused on further development of the wholesale business. Earlier the distributor sold its Chinese retail business to METRO China. Both transactions will bring the company total revenue of over €1.9 billion.
