U.S. President Donald Trump signed a decree prohibiting transactions with Chinese technology firms Tencent, owner of the WeChat and ByteDance messenger, which owns the TikTok service. The ordinances come into force in 45 days. The cooperation with these companies is declared a "threat to national security".
