Amazon is in talks with Simon Property Group, the largest U.S. shopping center owner, about using some JC Penney and Sears closed stores as processing and ordering centers, The Wall Street Journal reported citing sources. Amazon and Simon declined to comment. Having new facilities could speed up delivery of goods and improve logistics. Simon Property Group declined to comment.
