In 2020, VimpelCom will provide mobile Internet access to the Kirov-Vyborg and Moscow-Petrograd tunnels of the St. Petersburg metro. In 2021, all branches will already be covered by mobile Internet. The company is installing Huawei equipment that supports the LTE standard and will be able to work with 5G after its commercial launch. VimpelCom will also expand its network coverage in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region by installing more than 1.5 thousand new base stations this year.
