The Government wants to provide Gazprom with a mineral extraction tax benefit to offset the costs of connecting households to gas supply. At present, the country's gasification level is 70 percent. In the Central and Southern Federal Districts this level reaches 80-95 per cent, while in Siberia and the Far East it is between 10 and 20 per cent. The volume of investments to complete gasification by 2030 is estimated at ₽1.9 trillion.
