Fitch Rating Agency has downgraded RussNeft's long-term default rating from CCC+ to C. The decision was made after the company failed to repay on time $46 million of the principal debt on the $1.17 billion loan. Agency analysts believe that negotiations on restructuring of this debt are at an impasse.
