Gazprom will pay Ukraine $2 billion for Russian gas transit this year, said the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andrey Kobolev. According to the terms of the new contract, the payment should be made for the volumes of booked transit capacities, regardless of whether physical gas supplies were made.
