The Human Medicines Committee (CHMP) recommends approval of Olumiant from Lilly. If approved, the drug will be the first JAK inhibitor for the treatment of moderate to severe bronchial asthma. The drug has passed the third phase of BREEZE-AD. The conclusion of CHMP has been submitted to the European Commission. The final decision will be made within 1 - 2 months.
