The lawsuit filed by the American company Tiffany & Co. against the French LVMH was scheduled for January 5, 2021. The lawsuit was filed due to a delay in the merger procedure. LVMH agreed to buy Tiffany at the end of November for $16.2 billion, but at the scheduled completion date - August 24, LVMH did not apply for the necessary regulatory approval.
