Princess Cruises sold two cruise liners as part of its Carnival restructuring program. Earlier the cruise operator announced its intention to sell 18 ships from its fleet this year against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic. On September 18, Sun Princess and Sea Princess vessels were sold. Presumably, Sun Princess will be bought by Japanese non-profit organization Peace Boat and the ship will be renamed into Pacific World. The future of Sea Princess is not yet known.
