Amazon has asked the Supreme Court of California to review its decision in a case involving liability for the quality of products sold through an online store by third parties. According to the company, it is becoming more vulnerable to such lawsuits. Earlier, through the site Amazon sold a laptop that exploded the battery and injured the buyer. The court ruled that the company was not exempt from liability for poor quality goods.
