Apple has applied for frequencies to test its Bluetooth - UWB analog in Russia. This technology is implemented in iPhone 11, but is not used in Russia due to restrictions imposed by the State Commission on Radio Frequencies. Testing is conducted to determine whether the specified devices will interfere with someone. Interference risks are the main reason for restricting the use of this technology in Russia.
