Business growth
The air carrier Lufthansa plans to reduce already more than 1000 pilots. Some of the pilots will be forced to retire early, and some will be transferred to part-time work. In June the company informed about the plans to reduce to 600 pilots. Reductions are connected with continuing fall in demand for air transportation.
