Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot S. A. have completed the next step to join the Stellantis automotive alliance. The boards of directors of the companies allowed PSA to sell up to 7% of Faurecia shares so that the merged company would not gain control over it. The cash from the sale will be distributed to Stellantis shareholders together with the distribution of the remaining stake in Faurecia. The parties expect the merger to be completed by the end of Q1 2021.
