Eni and bp merge Angolan assets into Azule Energy joint venture

Eni entered into an agreement with bp to create a joint venture, Azule Energy, based on the Angolan divisions of both companies. The resource base of Azule Energy will be 2 bln boe and the oil and gas production volume will be 200,000 boe/d. Eni and bp will each own 50% of the joint venture.
