Glencore will pay about $1.5 billion to settle claims by U.S. authorities, the country's attorney general Merrick Garland said. The company is accused of attempting to bribe officials in several countries and manipulating oil prices at two U.S. ports. Glencore has agreed to plead guilty in both cases.
