ConocoPhillips to participate in Qatar LNG project development

ConocoPhillips has become QatarEnergy's third foreign partner to develop the North Field, which accounts for 10% of the world's known natural gas reserves. The U.S. company will receive 25% in the North Field East LNG project. The project is expected to increase Qatari LNG production by 64% to 126 million tons by 2027.
