Magnit has launched a pilot project for a new format of convenience stores

Retailer Magnit began testing a new format of stores near the house - plus. This type of outlets is larger than standard convenience stores, but smaller than regular supermarkets. Due to the larger space there will be more convenient navigation in the sales area, a cafe zone will appear, the choice of ready-to-eat products will be expanded, a cookery will appear on weight basis, a cheese and sausage cutting service will be added. The first 2 stores are opened in Moscow. There are plans to launch several more outlets in St. Petersburg and Kazan this July.
