Sollers Group plans to resume production of eight-cylinder ZMZ engines in the first half of 2023. Gasoline and bi-fuel engines of the ZMZ 523 and 524 series were produced at the Zavolzhsky Engine Plant until 2021 and were used in many well-known models of commercial vehicles and buses. Currently, there is a renewed demand in the market for the V8 engine line - both for new buses and for the aftermarket spare parts market.
